Popular Vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome Says Goodbye to YouTube Vlogging

In an emotional announcement just before Christmas, famous Filipino vlogger and singer Donnalyn Bartolome shared big news. She told her fans she is quitting vlogging.

She made the announcement in a video on December 23rd. The video was called “The Gift Reverse.” It was over 24 minutes long. Bartolome explained her reasons for leaving.

“There’s no easy way to say this,” she said. “But I’m saying goodbye to vlogging.”

She spoke directly to her 10 million YouTube subscribers. She said this decision was a gift to herself.

Why She Is Quitting

Bartolome said she feels she cannot share her full self online. “There are so many things about me that I can’t share with all of you,” she explained. “Because of that, I can’t be my authentic self.”

She described her online persona as pieces of a puzzle. “Bits and pieces of me are scattered. You can’t paint the full picture with it,” she said.

A Thank You to Fans

The singer known for the song “Kakaibabe” also thanked her supporters. She said their support changed her life.

“Because of your support I was able to provide for my family, my loved ones, and other people,” she said. She added that she could share opportunities because of her fans.

She also thanked them for forgiving her mistakes. And she thanked them for celebrating her successes.

A Final Goodbye

Bartolome knows this news is hard for her fans. “I know it’s not nice to be bid goodbye to,” she said. “To some of you I’m a sister, a friend, a future girlfriend.”

She promised a special farewell. She will release 10 final vlogs. Her fans will get to choose what she does in these videos.

“You get to choose which personality you want to see,” she told them. “We will make it a beautiful ending.”

Donnalyn Bartolome did not say if she will quit other social media. She also did not say if she will stop her music career. Her focus right now is on ending her vlogging chapter in a meaningful way.
