Actress Sreeleela is known for her powerful screen presence and energetic dance performances. At just 24 years old, she has also taken a deeply personal step by adopting three children. In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, the actress spoke openly about her journey into motherhood.
This is the first time Sreeleela has shared details about her decision. She admitted that she prefers to keep this part of her life private. According to her, anything a celebrity does often gets exaggerated, which is why she stayed silent for so long.
“I Get Emotional Talking About Them”
During the interview, Sreeleela revealed that her children do not live with her full-time. They are well taken care of, and she visits and stays in touch with them regularly. She said she becomes emotional whenever the topic comes up.
“I fall short of words when I talk about it,” she said. “I’m not a mother mother. There’s an entirely different story behind it.”

How Sreeleela Met Her Children
Sreeleela shared that her journey began during the shoot of her 2019 Kannada film Kiss. During that time, her director took her to an ashram, where she met the children for the first time.
The bond grew slowly. For years, she kept the adoption a secret. Later, the institution encouraged her to speak about it so more people would consider adoption.
“I don’t want credit,” she said. “But I want people to start looking in that direction.”

Sreeleela had a busy 2025, appearing in films like Robinhood, Junior, and Mass Jathara.
She will make her Tamil debut this Pongal with Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, alongside Sivakarthikeyan and Ravi Mohan.
Her Hindi debut is also lined up with a film directed by Anurag Basu, starring Kartik Aaryan. She will also be seen in Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan.
