In a recent interaction with The Free Press Journal, the actress opened up about what she described as one of her worst Valentine’s Day experiences. The story left fans both shocked and amused.
The Bizarre Tea Incident
Adah revealed that she had been dating a man for about six months. They had spoken regularly on the phone and even watched movies together. One day, he asked her out for lunch and later dropped her home.
Wanting to continue their conversation, she invited him upstairs. Her mother and grandmother were also at home.
While they were chatting on the balcony and enjoying the sunset, the conversation shifted to tea. Her date decided to make his own cup. That is when things took an unexpected turn.
Adah jokingly told him that a container in the kitchen did not contain sugar but powdered human teeth and bones that she had been collecting for over 150 years.
The comment shocked him. He even asked if she planned to powder his teeth too. Staying in character, Adah replied humorously that she did not do such personal things with people she had not known for long.
The joke did not land well. The man reportedly rushed out of her house in such a hurry that he left his shoes behind. Adah said the incident left her confused but highly amused.
