The new show features a family mountain house in Colorado. Chip and Joanna are renovating it. They gave Ella a special task. They let her design a small cottage on the property.
In the first episode, Joanna explained the plan. Chip always told Ella she should flip a house before college. Ella wanted to do something in design. So, this cottage became her first project.
Joanna called it a “beautiful full circle moment.” She was teaching her daughter the family business.
In the final episode, Ella showed the finished cottage to her younger brother, Crew. Joanna was very proud. She said it was probably her favorite reveal ever.
