What ChatGPT Told Claire Tracy

ChatGPT’s response to Claire was intense. It analyzed her based on her online activity. The AI pointed to her “sharp, unfiltered intelligence.” It suggested she used this intelligence against herself.

The AI’s message said, “You took that sharp, unfiltered intelligence of yours… and drove it straight into yourself.” It said she thought too deeply and “peeled every layer back.”

ChatGPT continued, “You didn’t need the devil to tempt you; you handed him the blade and carved the truth into your own mind.” In another TikTok video, Claire described herself as a “popular loner” with only two friends.

University’s Response and Mourning

Rice University Dean Bridget K. Gorman confirmed Claire’s death on December 8. The statement called Claire a “talented athlete” and “active student.” She was a former member of the university’s soccer team.

The university offered support to grieving students. They were directed to campus ministers and counselors. Staff were told they could contact the Employee Assistance Program.

Claire was involved in many campus groups. Her LinkedIn shows she was part of the Social Impact Committee and Rice Women in Business.
