Suryateja, Sumith, Srinikhil and Rohit Killed in Car Crash on Hyderabad Outskirts

Four students lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the outskirts of Hyderabad in the early hours of Thursday. The accident took place at Mokila in Telangana’s Rangareddy district, police officials confirmed.

What Happened in the Mokila Accident

According to the police, the students were travelling from Mokila towards Hyderabad when their car lost control near Mirzaguda. The vehicle rammed into a roadside tree with great force. All four students died on the spot.

Victims Identified

The deceased students have been identified as:

  • Suryateja

  • Sumith

  • Srinikhil

  • Rohit

Three of the victims were students of ICFAI University, Hyderabad, while Rohit was studying at MGIT (Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology).

One Student Seriously Injured

Another ICFAI student, Nakshatra, sustained serious injuries in the crash. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors have described her condition as critical but stable.

Police Investigation Underway

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Initial findings suggest overspeeding may have played a role, but officials said conclusions will be drawn only after a detailed probe.
