President Donald Trump has received his worst approval rating so far in his second term, according to fresh data released by the American Research Group (ARG). The new figures indicate a continued decline in public support, reflecting growing dissatisfaction among American voters.

The nationwide survey was carried out between January 16 and January 20, involving around 1,100 adult participants from across the United States. The results show that only 35 percent of respondents currently approve of Trump’s performance, while a significant 63 percent disapprove of the way he is handling his role.

This puts Trump’s net approval rating at minus 28 points, marking the lowest score recorded by ARG since his return to office. Analysts note that the numbers suggest a steady downward trend rather than a sudden drop, pointing to long-term challenges in regaining public confidence.

Political observers believe the declining approval could impact Trump’s influence within the Republican Party and shape upcoming political strategies, especially as public opinion becomes increasingly polarized ahead of future elections.
