Two stars from the TV show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) are engaged. Shelby Tribble and Sam Mucklow announced their happy news. It happened while they were on a New Year’s holiday.
Shelby Tribble shared the news on Instagram. She said “yes” after Sam Mucklow asked her to marry him. The romantic proposal took place in South Africa.

Shelby posted a photo of her engagement ring. The ring has a large oval-shaped diamond. It sits on a thin, elegant band.

The Couple’s Relationship History
Shelby and Sam have been together since 2019. They met while appearing on TOWIE. The couple already has two young sons. Their first son, Abel, is five years old. Their second son, Teskey, is eight months old.
This is not their first engagement. They got engaged back in 2019 as well. However, the couple split up in 2023 after four years together.
Fans saw signs of trouble before the split. Shelby had posted unclear messages on social media. One post showed her alone on a night out. The caption read: “Go where you are celebrated not tolerated”.
A Rekindled Romance and Growing Family
The breakup did not last forever. Just five months later, Shelby and Sam got back together. They were seen going on holiday together.
In October 2024, they announced exciting news. They were expecting their second child. Shelby posted a photo of a special cake. It was heart-shaped with beige icing. The words ‘Oh Baby’ were written on top. Next to the cake was a sonogram image.
