A new controversy is troubling social media. A private video is spreading online. Many people are linking this video to famous gamer Payal Gaming. This has started a major debate about deepfake technology and privacy.
The video is about 19 minutes long. It first appeared on Instagram and then spread to other platforms like X (formerly Twitter). Many users claimed the person in the video was Payal Gaming.
However, a large number of people immediately said the video was fake. They believe it is a “deepfake.” A deepfake is a video made using artificial intelligence (AI). This technology can put a person’s face onto someone else’s body in a video.
Fans and supporters of Payal Gaming quickly defended her online. They asked people not to share the video or her name without proof.
One user on X wrote a clear message. They said, “I’m not even a fan, but this doesn’t look real. Using AI videos to ruin someone’s image for views is disgusting.”
Another user explained the problem. They said, “People need to understand how easy it is to create deepfake videos now. Dragging Payal Gaming’s name into this without proof is wrong.”
This is not the first such incident recently. Earlier, private videos of other Bengali influencers also went viral. After that, many AI-made fake videos also circulated online.
Payal Gaming, whose real name is Payal Dhare, is a top Indian gaming creator. She started her YouTube channel in 2019. She became famous for playing games like Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and PUBG.
She has over three million subscribers. She was also the first Indian female gamer to hit this milestone on YouTube.
In 2023, she won the “Dynamic Gaming Creator of the Year” award. In 2024, she was named “Gaming Creator of the Year.” She has also won “Best Female Streamer” awards.
Recently, there were rumors she might join the reality show Bigg Boss 19. Now, her name is caught in this video controversy.
As of now, Payal Gaming has not made any public statement. She has not confirmed or denied the video’s authenticity. She has also not officially addressed the deepfake claims.
Legal experts warn that creating or sharing such fake videos can be a crime. It violates a person’s privacy and can lead to serious legal action.
