In the post, she announced the release of a bonus track. The song is called “Such a Funny Way.” It is from her seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend.
Until now, this song was only available on the vinyl version of the album. Carpenter is making it available for everyone on streaming services as a special gift.
She wrote the reason for the surprise release in her caption. She wanted to “thank you for such a beautiful year.”
She also called the track a “cathartic Christmas crashout song” for anyone who needs one this season.
