Later that same day, he approached students on the cricket ground. He continued his remarks in a mix of Hindi and Kannada. He allegedly said, “Aiy Kannada log mera kuch nahi bigad sakte.” This means “These Kannada people can’t do anything to me.”
These statements deeply hurt the students and local community.
