Police in Thane have made an arrest in an attempted murder case. A 23-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh was caught. He is accused of trying to kill his employer.
The crime happened in the Bhyandar area of Thane district. The incident took place on December 11 last year. The accused, Tushar Dubey, allegedly stabbed his boss.
The victim is Dashrath Sharma. He is 27 years old. Sharma works as a wedding stage decorator.
The attack followed a work-related dispute. Details of the argument are still under investigation. After the stabbing, Dubey fled the scene.
He traveled to his hometown in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. He moved between locations to avoid capture. This made the police search more difficult.
The Crime Detection Branch of the MBVV Police led the operation. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Madan Ballal provided details. He said the team acted on reliable intelligence.
A special team from Cell-1 tracked Dubey to Jaunpur district. They arrested him there. He was then brought back to Thane for legal proceedings.
The police confirmed that Dubey had been evading arrest for nearly a month. His capture brings relief to the investigation team. The victim, Dashrath Sharma, survived the attack. He is currently recovering.
