YouTuber Nico Grigg, popularly known as NicoIsCold, is drawing massive attention online after uploading a viral video showing his attempt to access Little St. James, widely known as Epstein Island, in the US Virgin Islands.
The private island, once owned by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is currently undergoing redevelopment into a luxury resort.
What Nico Grigg Showed in the Epstein Island Video
In the video titled “I Snuck Onto Jeffrey Epstein’s Island”, Nico Grigg and a group of associates travel to the US Virgin Islands to document the island from close range.
Using a drone, Grigg records aerial footage showing buildings, boats, and people present on the island. He points out what he describes as workers and security personnel during the flyover.
After several unsuccessful attempts to approach the island by boat, the group eventually reaches the shoreline using rented jet skis.
Why the Group Left the Island Early
The video shows that the group did not move far beyond the beach area. Grigg explains that sharp rocks, sea urchins, and the visible presence of workers filming them made the situation risky.
Shortly after, the group decided to leave the area to avoid confrontation or legal trouble. No restricted structures or hidden areas were entered.
Claims Made by Nico Grigg After Uploading the Video
Following the video’s release, which quickly gained millions of views, Nico Grigg posted updates on TikTok and Instagram claiming he faced consequences after the stunt.
He alleged that:
-
Dark SUVs were parked outside his Florida residence
-
He received a warning message from someone claiming to work on the island
-
He was told he could face arrest if he returned
These claims have not been confirmed by police or any official authority.
Who Owns Epstein Island Now
Little St. James island is no longer linked to Jeffrey Epstein. In 2022, the Epstein estate reached a USD 105 million settlement with the US Virgin Islands government.
In 2023, the island was purchased by billionaire investor Stephen Deckoff through SD Investments. The property is now being redeveloped into a private luxury resort and remains strictly closed to the public.
Unauthorized access is considered illegal trespassing under local law.
