A man identifying himself as Russian and going by the name Yaytseslav has sparked online outrage after videos linked to him went viral on social media platforms including TikTok, X, and Telegram. The clips reportedly show him approaching African women in public places such as shopping malls, supermarkets, and streets in cities like Nairobi and Accra.

In the videos, Yaytseslav introduces himself, compliments women, and asks for their phone numbers. Some clips later show women visiting his hotel room or Airbnb, sometimes on the same day. His face is mostly not visible in the circulating videos.

Allegations have emerged that he secretly recorded intimate encounters with multiple women and shared the footage online without consent. Reports suggest that the videos involve women from Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and other African countries. Short clips have appeared publicly on TikTok and YouTube, while longer recordings are allegedly shared through a private Telegram channel charging around five US dollars per month.

While some women declined his advances, others agreed to meet him, which has intensified debates over consent and privacy. In several recordings, Yaytseslav can be heard using similar lines to approach women, and interactions typically start in public before moving to private locations where recording continues.

Viewers have speculated that he may have used smart glasses, such as Ray-Ban or Meta smart glasses, to capture the footage, though there is no official confirmation. The controversy has prompted widespread discussions online about digital consent, exploitation, privacy rights, and the responsibility of social media platforms to monitor harmful content.

Authorities in the countries involved have not issued public statements, but social media users are calling for accountability and urging platforms and law enforcement to protect individuals from non-consensual recording and distribution of private content.
