December 11, 2025 – Frank Cozzolino, a beloved electrician from the HGTV show “Holmes on Homes,” has died. He was 56 years old. He passed away on December 4, 2025. His death was due to sudden health problems. This was confirmed by his friend and co-star, Mike Holmes.
Cozzolino lived in Toronto, Canada. He owned a company called Solutions Electrical. The company was very successful. His obituary says this success showed his hard work and strong will.
He leaves behind his partner, Lisa, and his two daughters, Filomena and Alexandria.
Mike Holmes shared his sadness on Instagram. He wrote an emotional post about his friend. Holmes said Cozzolino made everyone better. His work will live on in every home he fixed.
Holmes remembered how Frank could enter a home with big electrical problems. He would tell a joke in his own way. Then, the whole room would feel less stressed. That was his personality.
He was very passionate about helping homeowners. His friends and family will miss him deeply.
In another video posted on December 9, Holmes shared more details. He said Frank faced serious health issues for years. About six years ago, Cozzolino received a liver transplant. That liver later failed. He needed a second transplant.
At that time, his family and friends worried he would not survive. But he recovered. He surprised everyone. Recently, he had more complications. This led to his passing on December 4.
Holmes also recalled their first meeting. It was about 25 years ago. It was the first day of filming “Holmes on Homes.” An electrician walked in at the end of the day. It was Frank Cozzolino.
Holmes told Frank they might not make much money fixing the homes. But Frank did not care. He just wanted to help the people. Holmes asked if he would help anyway. Frank’s answer was simply, “Yes.”
