She later returned to NUI Galway for her doctorate. Clare is now a Senior Clinical Psychologist. She works for the HSE in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. She has also worked in adult and forensic mental health.

In 2020, Clare became a TV presenter. She joined the RTÉ environmental show ‘Eco Eye’. She hosted the program alongside Duncan Stewart. The show discussed important ecological issues. Her last episode was broadcast in 2021.
How She Met Ryan Tubridy
