A champion bodybuilder has died at the age of 28. He suffered from a rare and aggressive flesh-eating bacterial infection. His family believes illegal muscle-building products may have triggered the illness.

The bodybuilder is Kevin Notario Nunes. He was a former state-level champion in Brazil. He was rushed to the hospital with severe pain in his thigh.

What happened to Kevin Notario Nunes?

Kevin was taken to a hospital in Ponta Porã, Brazil. He was in extreme pain. Doctors performed emergency surgery.

They diagnosed him with necrotising fasciitis. This is a rare but very dangerous infection. It is often called flesh-eating bacteria.

The infection destroys skin and soft tissue very quickly. Despite emergency treatment, Kevin could not survive.

    What caused the infection?

His family has spoken out. They believe the infection was triggered by illegal muscle-gain products. Kevin was known to use supplements to enhance his physique.

Doctors are still investigating the exact cause. Flesh-eating bacteria can enter the body through cuts, wounds, or injections. The use of unregulated supplements or injections can increase the risk.

    Who was Kevin Notario Nunes?

Kevin was a well-known figure in Brazilian bodybuilding. He was a former state champion. He was dedicated to fitness and had a strong following on social media.

His sudden death has shocked the bodybuilding community. Friends and fans are sharing tributes online.

    What is necrotising fasciitis?

Necrotising fasciitis is a medical emergency. The bacteria spread quickly in the body. They release toxins that kill soft tissue.

Symptoms often start with severe pain, swelling, and redness. The skin may change color rapidly. Without fast treatment, it can be fatal.

This is a breaking news story. More details will be provided as they become available.
