    A video claiming to show alligators on the field at LSU’s Tiger Stadium is going viral. It was posted by a Facebook page called Baton Rouge Breaking News. The caption said the stadium was flooded with hundreds of alligators. It claimed people ran to the upper decks for safety. It also said alligators blocked exits and security guards ran away.

    The clip shows alligators swimming on a flooded football field. It has gained nearly 2 million views. However, the video is not real. It is fake and generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

    Page Admits It Creates Satirical Content

    The Facebook page Baton Rouge Breaking News clearly states it is a satirical news source. Its bio says it creates original, humorous content. It claims to be an award-winning satirical organization based in Los Angeles.

    Viewers React with Humor

    Many viewers online recognized the video was fake. They joked about it in the comments. One person noted the crowd in the video looked very calm. They joked the spectators might have thought it was a halftime show. Another user made a playful comment about the Florida Gators football team. Others joined in with funny interpretations of the scene.

    Real LSU Tigers Football News

    In real sports news, the LSU Tigers are set to play the Houston Cougars. The game is the Texas Bowl. It was announced on Sunday, December 7. The matchup will take place on December 27 at NRG Stadium in Houston. ESPN will broadcast the game live.

    This will be the Tigers’ second straight Texas Bowl appearance. They will play their final game under interim head coach Frank Wilson. Despite a 7-5 record this season, ESPN’s Football Power Index gives LSU a 67% chance to win. Houston had a stronger regular season, finishing 9-3.
